Our team was challenged to create a seamless events monitoring experience, where customers can understand the health of their setup at a glance, and continue their path to enable Algolia services that boost their business performance.
Why is this important?
Tracking end customer events is critical to enabling AI recommendations, which helps optimise their search experience and automate a lot of the detailed configuration work connected with category management, search query reranking and synonym generation.
Principles
- Users can quickly understand the health of the data being shared
- Every path should have an actionable next step for the user to follow
- Errors should be framed their impact to the services they power
Event configuration and management serve as the means to achieve this goal, rather than the end objective. Monitoring the health of events will be done by both technical experts and business managers.
